The Rev. Holly (Davis) Herring

The Rev. Holly Davis serves as the Associate for Faith-in-Action and Youth Ministries here at All Saints’ Episcopal Church and Day School. Mother Davis graduated from Transylvania University in Kentucky in 1989 with a degree in Business Administration, and received her M.Div. from Virginia Theological Seminary in 2008. She served as Rector of Saint John's Episcopal Church in Franklin, Pennsylvania from October 2008 through April of 2014. She has been involved in a range of ministries at St. John's, in her diocese, and in the community. Among her passions is ministry with children and youth. She is a licensed instructor for "Safeguarding God's Children," has led ecumenical youth groups, and has served on the staff of diocesan youth summer camps. Mother Davis brings extensive experience in parish ministry, organizational skills, family systems, a grounded and lively faith, a warm personality, and a strong passion for proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

She also has deep affection for Arizona. Her mother and brother live in Fountain Hills, and Mother Davis spent the summer of 2006 as an intern chaplain at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa as part of her ordination training. She enjoys kayaking, cooking, hiking, camping, reading, pottery, and family time. Her constant companions are two Labrador Retrievers: St. Boadain (Bo) and St. Catherine of Siena (Si). She welcomes you to call her Holly and looks forward to getting to know you.
