Fellowship

While this is the "Connect" piece of our mission, our fellowship gatherings are frequently centered around praying, learning, and serving.

  • Men's Breakfast

About a dozen men of the parish join Father Reed and Deacon Bade for breakfast and conversation on the second Thursday of each month, from 7-8am at Scott’s Generations Deli.  The group has settled into a  nice pattern of a delicious breakfast, an engaging faith conversation, and good old-fashioned fellowship.  The group welcomes new members of all ages.  The new location (as of February 2017) of Scott's Generations Deli is at the Northeast corner of 7th Street and Glendale Avenue, in the Madison Village Marketplace, 742 E. Glendale Avenue.

  • SAGES

(Senior Adult Growth and Enrichment Society)
Meets the second Wednesday of each month (except July and August)  This is a social, educational and recreational group for adults (60+). For most SAGES, this day begins with the 10am Eucharist and Healing Service in the Holy Innocents’ Chapel, followed by a discussion called “About the Saints” at 10:45am. They offer a tasty lunch, and an entertaining, informative program starting at 12pm in
    St. Barbara I & II.

  • Young Adults

This gathering of young professionals, undergraduate, and graduate students are eager for Christian discipleship and friendship. We are artists and attorneys and nurses and teachers and seekers. We meet occasionally for lively discussion and fellowship. Together, we look for opportunities for faith formation and outreach.

Hospitality

  • Ushers & Greeters

Christ welcomes everyone to his Church and we are Christ’s  emissaries in the world. Hospitality ministers are the hands and the smile of Christ at All Saints’ every Sunday morning and at special services. They welcome newcomers and “old timers”; they answer questions and provide everything that is needed for an enjoyable and spiritually deep worship experience. A ready smile and a willing, helping hand is all that is needed.  From being a greeter on the patio, to passing the offering plate at the service, welcoming hospitality is critically important to  making All Saints’ the place that God wants it to be. If you’re interested in being one of our “Lay Ambassadors” just chat with the ushers and greeter at any service to get more information.  Arlene Adams is the Ministry Leader of the Hospitality Team.

  • Coffee Hour Hosts

Coffee hour is an important ministry of hospitality both to our guests and our members. But no one person has the time or energy to give all morning to make it happen. And so, we ask for everyone to pitch in: sign up to greet people, help replenish trays, and/or clean-up. You may bring baked goods or other snacks if you wish, but the church will provide coffee and tea.  To sign up and for more details, contact Lindsay Wood at lwood@allsaints.org or 602.279.5539 x113.
